COACHES
Our skating programs are delivered by NCCP Certified Coaches, lead by
Head Coach Tannis Crerar. Our coaching team is a dynamic part of the Armstrong Skating Club that molds and shapes the atmosphere on and off the ice. Their enthusiastic dedication to the skaters and our programs enables them to pass on knowledge and build the basics skills of all our skaters.
Our Coaches can assist your skater in all disciplines; Skills, Ice Dance, Freeskate, Artistic, Learn to Skate and Hockey or Ringette.

Tannis Crerar
Tannis is a Skate Canada Trained National Coach, with 40 years of coaching experience in both recreational and competitive figure skating. From Canskate to Provincial champions she has dedicated over 35 years to the Armstrong Skating Club.

Cora-Lee Baker
Cora-Lee is a Skate Canada Certified Regional Coach, with over 26 years of coaching experience, Cora Lee Coaches Canskate and STARSkate.
Cora Lee also skates with the Vernon Synchronized Skating Team

Christine Turpin
Christine has been skating since the age of three. Her passion and enthusiasm on the ice makes her a hit with Canskaters. Christine is an invaluable part of our coaching team. Christine is Skate Canada certified Canskate coach.
Schelley McRae
Shelley has been a coach for over 29 years. 20 years specializing in Power Skating. Schelley is Skate Canada Certified Provincial Coach. Her attention to foundational skills makes her an expert in the field. We are excited to welcome her to our Skate Strong program.
